Privacy Policy

Overview

ReviveBy is operated by Ripple Inv LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use ReviveBy ("the Service"), a SaaS tool that helps businesses recover failed Stripe payments through automated email campaigns.

This policy applies to all users of ReviveBy. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

What Data We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, company name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash; we never store your plain-text password).

Stripe data: When you connect a Stripe account via Stripe Connect, we receive access to your Stripe account data as authorized by you. This includes customer records, payment intent data, subscription data, and failed payment events. We access only the data necessary to identify failed payments and send recovery emails on your behalf.

Your customers' data:Through your connected Stripe account, we may process names and email addresses belonging to your customers. This data is used solely to send recovery emails as directed by you. We do not use your customers' data for any other purpose.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, actions taken, and timestamps. This helps us improve the product.

Technical data: We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, device type, and referring URLs when you use the Service.

How We Collect Data

  • Account creation: Information you provide when signing up
  • Stripe Connect: Data received when you authorize ReviveBy to access your Stripe account
  • Cookies and session storage: Used to keep you logged in and maintain application state
  • Analytics tools: We use privacy-focused analytics (such as Umami or Vercel Analytics) to understand usage patterns

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the Service (detecting failed payments, sending recovery emails, displaying your dashboard)
  • Process your subscription and billing
  • Send you transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, product updates)
  • Monitor and improve the performance, security, and reliability of the Service
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data or your customers' data for advertising.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the Service:

We do not share your data with any other third parties except as required by law.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit
  • Encrypted storage at rest (via Supabase)
  • Row-level security (RLS) on all database tables, ensuring users can only access their own data
  • Stripe handles all payment card data; we never store card numbers

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account:

  • Your account data is deleted within 30 days of your written request
  • Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law
  • Recovery email logs may be retained for up to 90 days for audit purposes

Your customers' data (names and email addresses processed through your Stripe account) is not retained beyond what is necessary to run active campaigns.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated data
  • Export: Request a machine-readable export of your data
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time

Children's Privacy

ReviveBy is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
